We would like visitors to read the following email before going to the British Spanking link below . This email concerns a local forum ( BRATSWORLD ) which we have been trying to help over the past months . It would appear that the basic problem is the perceived promotion of other organisations on the British Spanking site . This apparent perception has caused deletion or modification of other postings mentioning BRATSWORLD . We have been led to understand that there is an unwritten law at British Spanking about not mentioning other sites in postings ( even the name BRATSWORLD has been deleted ) . There is no problem if the policy was clearly published , but , as it is , visitors may not be getting the full story with postings . The email was sent to various addresses at British Spanking , no reply has been received ( 21 August , 2006 ) .

Let me introduce myself , I am Sam
Johnson , owner of SPANKOZ AUSTRALIA . Spankoz.com is the first site on
Google etc searches for "adult spanking advice " ( and many other
spanking subjects ) . We strongly support certain spanking
related causes , including stopping porn operators taking over , SPAM , and
censorship . This includes linking to and supporting true spanking Groups ,
Forums and sites , such as British Spanking . You probably know all this , so
I will not go on .
We also support Australian spanking sites
, such as BRATSWORLD.ORG ( BW ) , in this case by registering the URL and
hosting a front page for them which used to lead to their former host . BW is
run by a lady in Adelaide and others , we do not deal with content or
management , only the promotion of BW .
Late last week , I became aware that the
host of BW had unilateral closed BW without warning . I have been a member of
British Spanking for some time and , after a check for policy in this area ,
posted a message in what appeared to be the most appropriate forum . Similar
messages were placed on other Forums , such as
groups.google.com/group/soc.sexuality.spanking . Subsequently the British
Spanking posting was deleted , without reason ( or notification ) at the time
. When this was found out , I saw that one of your Moderators ( Morgana ) was
online and I sent an IM to her asking what had happened , she was kind
enough to pass my message on and later replied that someone else ( who I now
know to be Alexr
) had done it .

You don't happen to know what happened to my posting about Bratsworld being taken down by it's then host ? I think this is a serious matter going to the heart of spanking on the net , i.e. how do newcomers get ( and keep ) a free site , we are rapidly getting to the stage of only having commercial spanking sites ( many of which are really porn sites ) .

These highhanded closures should not be allowed to happen , I see this as being part of a growing move against adult sites in general . You may not be aware of it , but here in Australia the sale of all fetish videos is banned . We were thrown to the dogs by the " adult " industry in a deal with the Federal Government , we can not rely on the industry for support in the upcoming fight . I imagine that you have see this trend for yourself in the UK over the past years - the Spanner Case etc , even the showing of cane marks in cartoons at one stage .
BTW Sandra , the site owner , has had a very kind offer from Bethany ( herwoodshed.com ) to host BW .

I believe that the subject of unilateral closure of spanking sites by
service providers is a subject which should be before British Spanking
