Spankoz has no problem with the younger Japanese generation over whaling and the issues which we raise here .
The Japanese so called scientific whaling program is a sham ( Catalyst: Home - ABC TV Science ) .
This is a bloody business which has little to justify it . Japanese transience over whaling is a hangover of the worst of twentieth centaury Bushido where " Tora " X 3 led to " Ground Zero " X 2 . Japan has yet to acknowledge it's defeat in the War in it's school history books . Neither has Japan made reparations to China ( esp. Nanking Massacre ) or to the so called " Comfort Women " . What was done under Bushido to Allied Prisoners of War is still unforgivable .
What can YOU do ? Well write to your Federal Member ( Senator , Congressman/women etc. ) and tell them to put pressure on the Japanese to stop ALL whaling . Needless to say ask for a ban on all Japanese maritime products . Tell them your feelings and what you intend to do if Japan continues whaling . Feel free to start with asking what the Japanese did with the remains of the 860 of these animals they killed last year .

We are not tree huggers , let native harvesting of whales continue but , at all costs , stop these Japanese factory ships . As for Kangaroo meat , it is available locally in Australia ( called " Skippy " by some locals ) and tastes great with red wine .
